| About Slough Aikikai |
Slough Aikikai belongs to the Myo Shin Juku House of Aikido, which is part of the United Kingdom Aikikai, or UKA.
The UKA is affiliated with the International Headquarters of Aikido, at Hombu Dojo in Tokyo, Japan.
Slough's chief instructor is Sensei Paul Shepherd who holds the grade of Yondan (4th Dan) and is a member of
the Fuku Shidoin for the UKA. There are currently around 20 members, approximately a quarter of whom are graded
Shodan (1st Dan) or higher. The club atmosphere is very friendly and all new members are welcomed with equal
enthusiasm regardless of ability.
